Bookings

Advance reservations are recommended but not essential. Walk-in bookings are sometimes available.

Check-in

Passengers are asked to check in for their flights at least 15 minutes prior to flight departure.

Cancellations

All whale watching flights are subject to suitable weather conditions. The Operator (Wings Over Whales Kaikoura Ltd.) reserves the right to cancel any flight at any time due to inclement weather, safety concerns, maintenance requirements or any other reason. Fares paid for flights cancelled by the Operator are fully refundable or can be rescheduled to another date/time of the passengers' choosing, subject to availability, at no extra charge.

No refunds are offered on completed flights. Whale sightings cannot be guaranteed and no refunds are given on the basis of no sighting being made.

Seating

Children under three years of age may not be allocated a seat. Childeren under the age of 3 may fly free of charge if seated on a parent's lap. Only one infant per adult is permitted.
